We love recognizing our #Buzzworthy students... 4th grader Elliott T. competed in the YMCA Swim State Championships last weekend & did great! He came in 13th out of 42 in his age group in the 100 freestyle, & 19th out of 77 in the 50 freestyle - way to go! #swim #championships

We have so many wonderful extracurricular activities here at SMS through our school itself, as well as outside organizations! Boy Scout & Girl Scout troops based out of St. Mary's held their annual Scout Mass this weekend, and it was wonderful to see such a great turn out of current students as well as alumni! Daisy & Brownie level Girl Scouts also hosted a cookie booth at St. Teresa's in Akron this weekend, and will be at St. Mary's on Sat. March 29th & Sun. Our Montessori full day friends had so much fun this afternoon with story cubes! After rolling the dice, students worked together to create a fun & creative story. Here's what they came up with: On a sunny day(☀️), I went to my house(🏠), my house was on fire (👩🏼‍🚒), I ran out, I saw a bat(🦇), I was sad.
