PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH FOR PROTECTION: Oh Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh Saint Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your divine son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, our Lord; so that having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while he reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss his fine head for me, and ask him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. Saint Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen.

Christina Egleston, Catholic Education Director, encourages us to, "Transform your relationship with Jesus through Mary. Through the 33 Days to Morning Glory Marian Consecration Retreat, you will feel the love of our Blessed Mother, Mary. She will bring all that weighs on your heart directly to her son, Jesus, and wrap you lovingly in her mantle." Join us on Monday, April 15th at 7 PM, as we begin a 33-day preparation for Marian Consecration. For six weeks, we’ll read about and reflect on four great Marian giants: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Mother Teresa, and St. John Paul II. They’ll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary. In our weekly meetings on Mondays, we’ll share our insights and then watch a 30-minute video. The video by popular author and speaker, Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, brings our individual reflections and group experience into a clear and live-able focus.

Plan on attending the Taizé Prayer Service on Thursday, March 14th at 7:00 PM in the church. Taizé prayer involves singing and listening to the Word of God in a peaceful, meditative, candlelit atmosphere and uses icons as a focus for contemplative prayer. The songs used in Taizé Prayer are simple refrains which have been composed specifically for this type of prayer. Take some time this Lent to experience Taizé.
