Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is today, June 27...
Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus:
O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen.

URGENT: Oppose Physician-Assisted Suicide Legislation in New York!
The New York State Catholic Conference strongly opposes recently passed legislation that would legalize physician-assisted suicide in New York. This bill (A136) would allow doctors to prescribe lethal medication for the express purpose of ending a patient’s life, and poses serious threats to the dignity and protection of the most vulnerable in our communities. The bill has already passed both the State Senate and Assembly. Governor Kathy Hochul's veto is now the final opportunity to prevent it from becoming law. Take Action with this link:

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the volunteers that helped out on St. Mary's Day of Service. Many assisted our facilities manager, Rob Cornell, by cleaning out our flower beds, mulching, and planting new flowers that will make our St. Mary's campus beautiful all summer long. We also had a team who gardened for our friends at Brothers of Mercy and several volunteers freshened up our chapel and cemetery. We hope to have even more help next year so we can do more.
