Our Forever Young group is a social group for members of our Together in Christ Catholic Family who are 55 years or older. New Members are always welcome! Their next meeting is Wednesday, June 11, 7 PM, in St. Mary’s Cafeteria (6919 Transit Rd., Door B-1).
Bob Poczik will present:
LET THERE BE LIGHT: ABRAHAM LINCOLN AND THE AMERICAN STRUGGLE
Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer and #1 New York Times bestselling author Jon Meacham chronicles the life, struggles and accomplishments of Abraham Lincoln. A president who governed a divided country has much to teach us in our current state of divisiveness. This illuminating new portrait gives us a very human Lincoln who sought to do right as God gave him to see the right. Through visual images and Lincoln’s own words, our 16thpresident will be brought to life.
The mission of the Forever Young seniors group is to have a positive experience in the lives of seniors and the community, to bring enjoyment to the individual and to contribute to the needs of the community through coordinated programs suggested and developed with fellow seniors.
