St. Mary's Parish, Swormville, is seeking financial support for Campus Safety Updates on Giving Tuesday, an annual global call to generosity. We ask parishioners, friends of St. Mary's and the public to prayerfully consider supporting financially and to spread the word to family and friends. As you give thanks for all your blessings on Thanksgiving with family and friends, please pray for the success of St. Mary's Giving Tuesday campaign.
Donors may specify which option they wish to support or can fund all three campus safety enhancements.
1. Upgrade of St. Mary's Security Camera System: includes installation of security cameras and a monitor in the church, additional cameras and an upgraded monitor for the school/parish center, and an emergency loud speaker for the playground.
2. Purchase and Installation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in St. Mary's Chapel.
3. Defray the 2026-27 Cost of School Security Guards to St. Mary School Families: This year’s expense (2025-26) was covered by a tuition grant from the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo (FRCDB). However, school parents have been informed that they will bear the entire cost via an additional charge to their tuition for subsequent school years. St. Mary's school building/parish center is also home to our Catholic Education Office and is used by parish faith sharing groups and service organizations during the school day.

Giving Tuesday donations will be accepted through January 15, 2026. They may be made in several ways:
Online: through St. Mary's secure Online Giving page
Cash or Check: fill out the Donation Form found at the bottom of the Giving Tuesday Flyer, place it in an envelope with a cash or check, label the envelope, "Giving Tuesday", and put it in the offertory collection basket or dropping it off to St. Mary's Parish Office (drop slot in side door is secure).
Credit Card: Call or stop by the Parish Office Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
