Corpus Christ Celebration

All are invited to the Eucharistic procession at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church on June 22, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

We will collaborate with the members of our Together in Christ family of parishes, with each parish preparing one of the altars along the route. Join us as we publicly express our belief in Jesus Christ, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. The procession will begin at 2 p.m. and proceed around the parish grounds, stop at five Eucharistic Altars of Repose and conclude in the Church.

Along the way participants will pray, sing and reflect on the Mystery of the Most Holy Eucharist. This will be a joyous celebration that will unite our parish communities as we publicly express our faith in the Eucharist, the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dessert reception following the procession in the Monsignor Paa Social Center.

We especially invite those who have made their First Communion this year to wear their First Communion attire and join in the procession. All girls are invited to participate by tossing flower petals (please bring a small basket if you have one) and boys are invited to participate by ringing bells (please bring a bell if you have one).
