On Saturday, December 6, Fr. Peter Bassey, presided over the blessing and lighting of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Diocesan Shrine in Bowmansville in the town of Lancaster. Approximately 50 faithful braved the cold to attend. All are welcome to the Shrine which is actually two shrines in one; devoted to the Sacred heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Conception. When Our Lady appeared to Bernadette at Lourdes, France, she said, "I am the Immaculate Conception."
