  • Vocations – a divine “call” to God’s service to the Christian life.
  • All Christians share in the priesthood of Christ through the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. We are all called to service – this includes married or single people, religious orders (nuns and brothers) and those ordained as bishops, priests and deacons.
  • Holy Orders is one of the 7 Sacraments (it’s a Sacrament of service). The sacrament is given only once and the ordained remain a member of the priesthood or diaconate (deacon) forever.
