St. Mary School Announcement

Dear St. Mary’s Faith Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I am advising you that I’ve resigned my position as principal at Saint Mary School.

I’ll be leaving this wonderful school, with a deep sense of gratitude for your support over these six years. I have valued our time as, together, we have grown SMS in so many ways: academically, spiritually, and socially. And, of course, it has been my honor and privilege to work with our excellent faculty, staff, HSA, and School Board, and to serve your children.

I want to assure you that I’ll be working this summer to prepare the school in accordance with the Governor’s guidance, which will be forthcoming August 7th, regarding our planned September opening.    I will also be working closely with Deacon Rick to help transition a new principal for the year ahead. Please know that I am accessible throughout the summer for any needs you may have, or if I may be of service in any way.

Saint Mary School is bigger and better than any one individual: it is defined by the collective dedication, commitment, generosity and expertise of all who serve her.

Thank you all again for your support and prayers, and for making this such a blessed and excellent school: a school that welcomes all!

God bless you! God bless Saint Mary School!

With Love and Gratitude,

Mary Jo Aiken, Principal
