Let’s celebrate the Month of the Holy Rosary of our Blessed Mother
and draw closer to Christ by praying the Rosary!
By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to certain devotion and the month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. October includes the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary (October 7) and the final apparition to the children by Our Lady of Fatima known as The Miracle of the Sun (October 13).
Our Blessed Mother when she came to us at Fatima said, “I am the Lady of the Rosary” and asked us to “pray the Rosary every day” for the conversation of sinners and Peace in the world.
We are offering the following opportunities to pray the Rosary at St. Mary’s during October!
*Saturday, October 1, after 9 a.m. Mass: First Saturdays Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
*One half hour prior to all weekend Masses in the church
(i.e., 3:30 p.m. Rosary before 4 p.m. Saturday Mass, 9:00 a.m. before 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass)
*8:30 a.m. Monday – Saturday before 9 a.m. Mass
*7:00 p.m. every Monday-Friday evening in the Chapel
Mary made herself known as Our Lady of the Rosary! During these times where prayer for peace and conversion are needed more than ever, please consider taking advantage of these many opportunities to spend some time growing closer to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of His, and our, most Beloved Mother!
