Joining the Catholic Church

Classes for those seeking to join the Catholic Church begin in September and run until May. We meet each Sunday in the Parish Center, Room 105, following the 9 a.m. Mass.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and Children (RCIA) is a process in which people explore their own faith in relation to the Catholic Christian community.  The process respects each person’s journey of faith and tries to address each person’s needs. Candidates are those who wish to convert to Catholicism or those baptized Catholic who did not receive First Eucharist or Confirmation. They will be brought into full communion with the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Mass through the Sacraments of Baptism and/or Confirmation.
