The ministry of lector is fulfilled at each of the weekend Masses by two individuals. In addition to weekend liturgies, lectors are sometimes asked to fulfill their ministry at special celebrations such as penance services. Lectors should be high school age or older and comfortable with public speaking. Training is provided and scheduling is determined by the needs of liturgical celebrations and the availability of lectors.
