Individuals and families embrace the St. Mary’s community and visitors by greeting people before weekend Masses.
Finance Council is an advisory group that monitors the financial activities of the parish and makes recommendations to the pastor and Parish Council.
Housekeepers of the Lord
Volunteers clean and tidy the church and chapel. One group of parishioners straightens out the pews and book holders in the church each week. Another group cleans both churches including polishing woodwork, dusting statues and other tasks.
Throughout the year, the rectory staff is in need of extra hands to help with special mailings, the parish calendar, stuffing bulletins, data entry, preparing booklets and many other projects. Volunteers can help in whatever capacity they are interested and feel comfortable.
Working as teams, volunteers help several times a month tallying the weekend collection money. Teams count either Saturday evenings or Monday mornings.
Volunteers direct parking at church during high volume events, including Christmas and Easter Masses and Confirmation.
Parish advises the pastor, providing direction, suggestions, information and support necessary to implement the goals of the parish.
