Lifelong Faith Formation
Bible Study Groups
There are several Bible Study programs offered throughout the year that afford individuals the opportunity to deepen their faith and knowledge of Sacred Scripture. Little Rock Bible Study, Faith Comes Alive and other scripture study opportunities are offered at various times during the year.
Reconnecting With Your Catholic Faith
This small group calls all Catholics to faithfully embrace the sacramental life of the Church, through weekly Mass and the sacrament of Penance. Anyone who seeks answers to questions about the faith is encouraged to do so and support is offered especially to those who have been away, whatever the reason or length of time. Meets the week after Easter, additional meetings if necessary, but available any time. For more information, call Tom at 716-689-7448 or Carol at 716-741-8490.

Core Team members are volunteers who work with the Youth Ministry staff to pass on the faith to the youth of St. Mary’s in junior high and high school Fatih Formation programs. No prior experience is needed. Volunteers are trained and resources are provided.
Faith Sharing Groups
Faith sharing groups are open to anyone who would like to deepen their prayer life, relate Scripture to their lives and discuss their faith in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A women’s faith sharing group meets the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Prayer Room; a men’s group meets on the third Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and another men’s group meets two Saturday mornings each month at 7 a.m. in the cafeteria (check the bulletin for dates).
Married couples assist engaged couples in their preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage. Couples meet with one of the parish priests prior to setting their date. Sponsor couples are always needed for this ministry.
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) invites persons who are not Catholic to learn about the Catholic faith and become full members of the Catholic Community. RCIA also provides a similar process to baptized Catholics who have not received the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and/or Confirmation. Catechumens participate in a scripture-based, in-depth study of the faith, beginning in advent and concluding with their reception of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
St. Mary School
Volunteers are always welcome to assist in the library, serve as lunch monitors, coach sports teams and assist with the drama program. Help is also welcome with various fundraising events during the school year.
