All Saints' and All Souls' Day with artwork

All Saints' Day, Wednesday, November 1st, is a  Holy Day of Obligation in the Catholic church.  This liturgical solemnity honors all the martyrs and saints, known and unknown. St. Mary's Church, Swormville, will off these opportunities to attend Mass:

Tuesday, October 31 - 5:00 PM Vigil Wednesday, November 1 -  7:00 AM, 9 AM, 7 PM

All Souls' Day is not a day of obligation. It is a commemoration of those who have died before us and for those in purgatory.

All Souls Day Masses are on November 2nd at 9 AM and 7 PM, in the church.  We invite all parishioners, especially those who have recently lost loved ones, to attend the Mass of Remembrance at 7 PM as we offer prayers for those who have died and were buried from St. Mary’s Church in the last year.

In our liturgical calendar, November is the month of remembering our deceased loved ones. This remembrance begins with the Feast of All Souls’ Day on November 2nd and lasts throughout the month.
