If your child has expressed an interest in becoming an altar server, please plan to have them attend the New Altar Server Training on Friday, August 11, 9:45 am - 11:30 am.
Boys and girls in grade 4 and above who have received their First Communion are eligible to be trained as an altar server. The training will be conducted by our adult server coordinator, Mr. Dick Marchessault in the church. Contact Donna Allan at liturgy@stmaryswormville.org if your child would like to attend.
A note to current altar servers– there will be a gathering for current servers to go over procedures, discuss your ideas regarding serving at St. Mary's, and answer any questions you may have. If you are interested and available, Mr. Dick Marchessault would like to meet with you after the 9 AM Mass on Monday, August 7, in the church.
