St. Mary's LIFE TEEN Youth Ministry would be unable to function without the assistance of it's volunteers. Our Youth Ministry volunteers come together to ensure that Christ is a part of our young people's lives. Regardless of age or profession, if you are a faith filled person who can give as little as an hour or two a week, we need your help to make St. Mary's Youth Ministry a success. Areas of need include:
Retreat Ministry:
We need people who would be willing and able to be trained in the methods of hosting Catholic retreats here at St. Mary's. With just a handful of people we would be able to offer our teens retreat opportunities that will bring them closer to Christ and each other. Good retreat experiences lead to young people getting involved in their parish.
LIFE TEEN Core Team:
We always welcome those who are 21 years old and up, who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and are willing to share and witness their faith with the teens of our parish and surrounding communities. Being a member of the Core Team requires roughly five to six hours a week. You will work with a group to plan three LIFE Nights, roughly one a month. You will be working in rotation with other groups to help facilitate our Sunday night programs. By working as a team you do not have to plan for a whole one hour class every week, and you will be working alongside other people like yourself who are working toward the same goals.
